Physiotherapy services within the practice are provided by Catherine Ryan. Catherine is a Chartered Physiotherapist employed by the Countess of Chester Hospital Trust and seconded to the practice for one session per week on a Tuesday afternoon.

Referral to Catherine is via one of the Doctors only. She books her own appointments not through the practice reception. If your Doctor feels that physiotherapy is needed ,the Doctor will pass your details to Andrea who will contact you directly and arrange the first appointment.

Usually access is within two weeks though sometimes a backlog may build up. Urgent cases will be fitted in as soon as possible.

whilst there is a good range of physiotherapy equipment available at the surgery sometimes more specialised resources are needed. If this is the case arrangements will be made for one of the Physiotherapists to treat you at the physiotherapy department at The Countess of Chester Hospital. Unfortunately we have no access to physiotherapy at Wrexham. That is only available on referral by one of the Orthopaedic Consultants.
